    Josie gene?

Hi, I'm going to start off with saying I'm new to the breeding world of ball pythons, not new to the snakes and morphs themselves.

Basically I'm posting this today asking advice on a gene that I haven't heard much of until it was offered to me to buy. I was offered 1.1 Josie ball pythons (het Ultras) today by someone through Faunaclassifieds. I'm currently waiting to here back on a price and picture of the two so that info will come later. But I'm asking advice on what you all think about the 'Josie' gene.

Is someone who's new to breeding get into something still upcoming like this? Should I decline right away? Should I trust the snakes are what they claim to be? Seeing as how Josie ball pythons look very similar to plain normals. So what advice can I get?

I can't give you any advice on what genes are/aren't good ideas to get involved with or what genes are good for a new breeder, as I don't breed BPs myself. However, if you have reason to think they aren't what the seller is claiming or the pricing looks too good to be true you may want to look for other opportunities. Situations that seem sketchy often are.
    3.0 Thamnophis sirtalis,
    1.1 Thamnophis cyrtopsis ocellatus
    0.1 Python regius
    1.0 Litorea caerulea
    0.1 Ceratophrys cranwelli
    0.1 Terrapene carolina
    0.1 Grammostola rosea
    0.1 Hogna carolinensis
    0.0.1 Brachypelma smithi

Does the seller have a decent - or any - rep on the Fauna BOI?
