Figured i would put up whats been working for me using glass tanks... my humidity and temps have been holding for a week steady now and peach has her self a nice sized tank at 38x18x18 and i use an 8.5" dome light on a dimmer switch with a 100w infared basking light on aspen bedding

-Materials-
Aluminum foil, tape, and your choice of light with your preffered bulb, and a decent sized water bowl nothing to deep for your snake but something with nice surface area for evaporation.

To start i cover the whole lid with aluminum foil using tape around the outside edge to hold it down and seal the lid up, make sure to cover the joints and set it aside.

Now in order for this set up to work your going to need to arange the hot side of the tank so both the hide and the large water dish will be in range of your light so your pets nice and warm and you get the water to evaporate a little and up the humidity.

Now grab your lid and using your light as a guide mark out on the aluminum foil where to cut, remember to double check you placmemt lines up to heat both the hide and the water bowl. Now when you cut this out make sure to cut about an extra half inch for ventilation, now for added measure i cut out a small rectangle, i made a make shift door out of some more aluminum foil and just taped it down on the top edge of the rectangle and i open and close this if i need to lower the temps or humidity.

So thats what i do to set up my mesh top glass tanks, and for an added bonus cover 3 sides of you tank and with the covered top your giving your baby that extra bit of privacy they love so much.

Sorry i dont have pics of the process but its straight forward but here are pics of the end result...
