I have a love/hate relationship with feeding time. I do love the fact that it keeps my boy healthy, content and satiated, BUT I do hate the fact that after being fed he's completely in hiding for the next 3-4 days, never to be seen or handled. Haha. Makes me feel kinda used sometimes...

You can always get one more and then just feed them on different days so you'd always have a snake to hold. It's nice to play with them once in a while but to me it's a lot more interesting and relaxing to observe their fluid movement.

Mr. Misha, first it's one snake...then two...then three...then more and more! I know the pattern and that's how it starts ! In fact, I'm actually thinking of getting a GTP, but obviously that doesn't help the handling situation lol.

Yea, GTP probably wouldn't be the best snake to play with. Though two BPs isn't that bad. Doesn't mean you need to go crazy getting a BP every week. Or maybe you might want to look into a Boa. Male Boas don't get as large as females and are very active.

Yeah, idk why the fascination with the green tree "stones" lol (partly joking ). But I've honestly yet to look into boas, and I'm definitely open to these beautiful creatures.

This. With everything from babies to adult boas in my collection, some eat every five days, others every 3-4 weeks. So there's usually at least one that hasn't just eaten and isn't in shed that I can fool with.

If you feed appropriately size foodstuffs you shouldn't have to wait more than a day or two.
