Red face can a female with an ambilical hernia still breed?

Today, i brought home a female rat to add to my small rat breeder colony, and i just noticed she has a small lump in the middle of her stomach (hernia?)

She is approx 3-4 months old. Can she still reproduce safely?

    Ty in advance!

I wouldn't breed an animal with a hernia unless you got it surgically closed.

I would definitely not breed from any females or males with almost any health problems.

Talking Re: can a female with an ambilical hernia still breed?

Thank you. I agree. I was ultimately bummed out cuz she is a blue agouti dumbo and i was excited to add the variety to my colony! Oh well! I dont want to be breeding health issues.... i wouldnt get very far! Right now i have some pearl & lilac merles, and that i do need to keep in eye on, as i know when bred pearl merle to pearl merle it is a lethal dominant gene and will kill part of the litter in utero! I like big, healthy litters!
