    hi my snake has had blue eyes for about 1 week now how come not shedding i'am new too this i just bought the snake about 1 month ago this will be the first time i see it shed i tought when the eyes go blue not long after they shed

    Hey, welcome to the forums.

    Typically the snake keeps the blueness for a few days, then it goes clear again, and in a few days will shed the skin. I wouldn't worry.. but perhaps you should soak your snake in room temperature water for an hour or so. Just make sure it isn't deep enough that the snake has to swim.

    That should soften the skin, and make it easier for the snake to shed.

    Make sure your humidity is nice and high, i raise it up to about 80 percent during a shed. A week does seem a little long for the eyes to be blue.Good luck
