Angry How I lost my ball python!!! crazy!!

Man i just went through 2 days of hell! lol

    So...

2 days ago I was letting my ball roam around the apartment supervised of course. He was at front of my apartment with all doors closed, so I figured i would go grab something from the kitchen. I come back 2 minutes later and i see him almost completely underneath my hallway door to my apartment!!

I was freaking out because I thought so many things could go wrong like he could get stuck or go into the hallway and someone will walk by and see him....But no it was much worse.

Once he was fully submersed under the door i opened it to grab him but he was not here.... I was dumb found..It turns out my door is metal and hollow and there is a hole the size of my thumb, that he somehow managed to fit his thick ass body into!!!

So now I have a snake stuck inside my apartment door, which leads into my hallway.

I blocked off the hallway side the best I could and left a dead mouse out surrounded by baking soda so I could track him.

I stayed up all night with no luck!

Next night i make my apartment freezing and leave another dead mouse out with his heat mat and hide...he popped out briefly but slithered back inside the door hole!

Today I grabbed a live mouse and put it inside his terrarium next to the door, and put a towel and hide next to the door crack.

I saw him creeping out slowly into the towel/hide, so I stalked his ass for dam near 40 minutes until I saw him out sufficiently and crept up silently and then swiped his tail out from under the door and grabbed him.

After this he balled up on me which is actually the first time! lol

Anyways..moral of the story: Don't underestimate the spaces a ball python can go...they are amazing creatures...this one squished himself into half an inch and then went into a hole which was no bigger than my thumb print...1000 LBS OFF MY CHEST JUST NOW LOL
