1st month along and Walters doing awesome

I'd say for the first month things have been about perfect with one minor exception. Man he eats like a champ, breeder said he'd never eaten f/t but ive had no issues. I usually place his f/t fuzzy rat on an open spot of the screen top and then go ahead and feed my daughters corn snake and by the time I come back he's out of his hide and ready to chow down.
Handling been no problem either so far. Hasn't struck at me once. When I first get him out he seems a little stressed but I just let him sit coiled on my hand and be still until he starts to move and explore and every time he seems a little better.
My only slight concern is he hasn't appeared to show any signs of a shed coming on yet. Going on 5 weeks and 4 successful feeds I'd think he'd be about due.

Our ball, Fuzzy, did the same thing. We got Fuzzy from Petco on February 8th and ate every meal except this past sunday, and today I noticed Fuzzys eyes are that tell tale hazed/blue look.

Maybe getting close now. Took him out last night for a bit and while he never struck but he seemed a bit more agitated than usual and his belly was slightly pinkish.

I'd keep a look out for his eyes to change in the next few days.
How cute, our snakes are almost on the same shedding schedule. Haha, okay I'll stop now.
