    Guaranteeing closed lids?

I am in gr 8, and getting a BP next year (don't tell me I shouldn't, I know what I can't do) and one rule is if it does anything, it's gone. What can you recommend for keeping the snake from escape?

A locking lid is a must if using a glass tank.

You can purchase PVC reptile enclosures with latches that have a keyed lock. Used properly it will not only keep your snake safely on the inside, it will keep unauthorized people (kids, roommates) out.

I use Zilla screen covers (nice heavy construction and heavy coated screen mesh). With the Zilla heavy duty clips. I used to use the regular reptile tanks, with the tonge and groove construction. But did not like how thin the screen was or the overall quality. I also have 36 inch NPI cages, that have sliding glass fronts. But they're a bit on the pricey side, but really great cages.

If you have the money I would look in to vision cages and also the ones from animal plastics like said before they have a lock on them so unauthorized people or things can't get in.
