Tinley pick-ups.

So...We are not allowed to go to the auction anymore. *grins* My fiancé and I went looking for some very specific snakes. We wanted either a mystic potion, a super fire, or a pied as our expensive snake, and then a cheap male pastel to breed with our spider to get bumble bees. Then maybe one snake at the auction. We found one super fire that was waaaaaaaaaaaaay out of our price range, no pieds that I liked, and a few mystic potions, but were still a little more than I want to pay for a most likely non breeding snake. So our plans flew out the window, and we came home with 6 snakes, 4 of which we won at the silent auction. .*sighs* So, the two we bought were a female pinstripe, and a male pastel calico. At the auction we got a male and female fire, a male citrus pastel yellowbelly, and a male het ghost. So I am sure everyone wants pictures, so here goes:

This is why I didn't go to Tinley; waaaaaay to tempting to bring home another friend. We went from two ball pythons in November to 4 in February; we added the female bee and the black pastel within a week of each other.

Very nice! Are they strictly pets or do you plan on breeding?

All are breeding plans. We will need to pick up a female het ghost at some point. Not sure where we will go with that project, but it should be interesting.

Ha! I went there yesterday looking for a female pied ball python ended up with a female killer bee, a male pastel, a few leopard geckos, my husband dragged me kicking and screaming from the hognose's too. He said I am not allowed to go there anymore lol.

We think our problem was going to the auction afterwards. We got some good deals on the snakes from there, which were hard to pass up. But we had a strict budget, and we stayed in that budget. So next Tinley, I think instead of going to the auction, we are just going to donate a bottle of alcohol, and call it good. Probably will get us into less trouble that way. *winks*
