    Growth rate

I bought my bp on 12/13/14. He weighed 90 grams and now currently 240 grams. Is growing at a good rate or am I under feeding him?

    Re: Growth rate

Seems like a very reasonable growth rate. Just to give you something to compare to I'll use my female pinstripe as an example. She was hatched in early July (I don't have an exact date from the breeder as she was a Repticon pickup). She was 75g on August 7th.

    Here's her monthly growth:

    8/7 - 75g
    9/7 - 105g
    10/9 - 165g
    11/9 - 215g
12/7 - 245g (this 4 month growth seems right in line with your 4 month growth)
    1/5 - 335g
    2/2 - 380g
    3/2 - 485g

I'd say you're doing just fine.

She's one that I haven't gotten to convert to frozen thawed yet so I'm a bit at the mercy of the local pet stores rodent supply. That said she was mostly eating adult mice from 75g-245g. Sometimes the "adult" mice from the pet store would be fairly small so right before she hit 225g she had two feedings of 2 mice.
She's now on rat pups to weaned rats.

She was on an every 5 day feeding schedule but since 245g she's been on 7 day feeding schedule. No other reason than my own convenience on getting to the pet store.

The pastel pied pair I picked up recently are both around the 220g range and they are both on F/T rat pups every 5 days.

Yea I'm on 2 live adult mice now. The only place that has live/frozen rat pups/weaned is an hour away. I haven't converted to frozen yet. The smallest frozen at my nearest pet store is a small rat at 50Grams. Whats the earliest I can start feeding him those? Gram wise?
