    What is this?

My spider has this stuff around her mouth, but I'm not sure if it's always been there. She doesn't sneeze and there's no mucus on the tub anywhere....thoughts?

The brown spots? Does it have a different look/feel from the rest of her scales? Not clear enough in pic to tell...

My spider has the same deal. Just assumed that it is just the colour of those scales.

    Re: What is this?

Are you referring to the white stuff on the bp left side? I see what could be a small amount of possibly substrate. What substrate are you using? The area doesn't appear to be swollen but we do need a bigger pic and a more clear pic. Anyway, just keep an eye on it. Bps sometimes get stuck substrate under the jaws that protrude out but they are pretty efficient at removing it themselves. Stay in peace and not pieces. Good luck. Hurry up with the new pics!

    Re: What is this?

I found out it was just natural markings! I guess alot of spiders have them.... I'm just paranoid I guess! I ordered a reptifogger and some f 10 just in case. I figure I'll need it eventually. Better safe than sorry
