    Somehow Kitty scratched his eye. Will this resolve itself when he sheds off the eye cap next shed?

    Yup, I am sure, it is pretty scratched, has been for a week or so. It looks like he rubbed up against something pretty hard

    nope, it is surface and looks much like a small graze/scrape. I wish I had a camera.

    If it's just on the surface, it will most likely resolve with the next shed. If it's deep enough, it may take multiple sheds or may be permanent.
