The reason why people are so scared of snakes

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-EAT-foot.html
Articles like this irritate me so much. First of all, the snake (only 2 feet long) did not try to eat the child's foot, it most likely slid under its foot for warmth and the baby rolled over onto it resulting in a nip. Just look at the picture, literally 2 little scratches on his toe. When people hear "python" they immediately think "EWW GROSS DANGER KILL THEM ALL". Instead of publishing idiotic articles like these we need to educate the public on the true docile nature of these animals.

While the article is over dramatized and laughable, blame has to be put on the irresponsible owner next door as well.

Yes the press will always make us look bad but so are irresponsible owners, you have a pet regardless of the pet it is YOUR job as a responsible owner to keep it contained.
