What would you add to this future project?

I have a mall pinstripe and a female pastel with nice color. I'm going to breed lemon blasts when they are ready, but I already want another morph in the mix.

    I'm thinking pied because:
Pin x pied = only head has color correct? (I read that somewhere don't know if it's true).
Would a lemonblast x pied produce a pastel pied with color only on head?

Pinstripe and pastel don't seem to have much effect on how much white a piebald has, they can be high or low white just like any other combo. I think you're thinking about spider piebalds, who do tend to have only head patterns.

Also you have to remember that getting piebalds is a going to be a multi generation endeavor since piebald is recessive (pied + whatever = 100% het pieds).

Maybe enchi? I've seen some great looking enchi pinstripes...and I'm sure with pastel in the mix it would look great. Maybe shoot for a two gene animal if you can afford it (i.e. pastel enchi) that way you could get super pastels as well as the other genes. I was lucky and got my 2 gene female at a show for $250, so if you hunt, it can be done.

I may do that, I was thinking enchis actually.
I love the color orange, just everything about it, even the fruit is my favorite food. I know about the orange dreams and also how enchi brings out oranges, but id love to see/create a pure orange ball python. Is there a super enchi, or would I be able to create a super pastel enchi, where both morphs are super?

    http://www.worldofballpythons.com/mo...l-super-enchi/

It exists and is pretty orange But still with a pattern. Totally patternless BPs are pretty rare, I think the leucistics and super cinnamons are some of the only ones.

Lol that's beautiful and now I'm sold. My project will be that, and then lemonblast variations because I plan to add the pinstripe into the mix. Now I have to find a pastel enchi

They're getting pretty close to pure orange BPs.

I'm thinking a super orange dream genetic stripe or a super orange dream spider clown would be pretty sweet and orange with a neat stripe.

Both Pin Pied and Enchi Pied are lower white animals

One of the Pinstripe Pied i produced last season

and an Enchi Pinstripe I produced last season as well

Well there are exceptions but it is rare

    Sire High White Pinstripe Pied

Than if you like Pin and Enchi Pied how about Enchi Pin Pied

Bottom line any Pied project is a great project

Than in the enchi category nothing beats a nice Hypo Enchi (well a Hypo super enchi does)

To me enchis are a great investment so many amazing combos whether you mix it with dom, co-dom or work toward long term project by incorporating enchi into Pied or Clown.

A Pastel Enchi is very affordable and an easy way to bring Enchi into your collection. Definitely a good choice.
