Python-77 invited me on over here to get some info on my 2 newest babies. I am brand new to snakes of any kind and I am now owned by a Male ball python (about 32 inches) and a Corn Snake (about 18 inches)
I have tons of reptiles but have jumped feet first into snakes and am still somewhat scared of them but willing to get over that.
I have held the Corn (Candy) but haven't held the Ball(Chase) yet. I have rubbed him and moved him around but not actually held him (yet).
The BP belongs to my 13 yr old daughter and the Corn belongs to my 9 Yr old son.
I look forward to learning MANY new things here!!!

New to forum and to snakes

Welcome! Trust me, you learn things without even knowing it. Here, they drill....no, to harsh a word, they burrow....no, still to harsh. They teach things into your head so well you can't forget them.

    Welcome to the site Reptilady.
The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is....

....Tattooed people don't care if you're not tattooed.

Compadres, it is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season. And remember, a shiny new donkey for whomever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya.

what are you housing them in (cage size, water bowl size, substrate, etc...) are experts will pick apart your husbandry.
There is no pleasure in having nothing to do; the fun is in having lots to do and not doing it.

    0.1 Chilean Rose Tarantula (Artemis)
