    First corn snake...

I happened to see this little one for sale on a local reptile classified ad. I've never had a corn before but something about this one just caught me. Lady I bought it from said it was a lavender "something". She couldn't remember lol. Also said she bought it unsexed. Will see about having it sexed soon. I've never probed or popped so would rather let something with more experience do it. Anyway here is my new little worm.

Beautiful lavender corn. I used to keep corns years ago, I always wanted a nice lavender like that.

Corns are cool. I like the look of yours. What did you name it?

At this point it looks more like a coral ghost motley than anything lavender based. Lavender itself, and lavender-anery combos tend to have very little if any yellow present and your baby has a TON. I think it'll be easier to tell for sure in a year or so when the adult coloration comes in. It's a truly stunning little snake.

Thanks. I haven't named it yet. Waiting to find out of it's a male or female first.

Thanks! I googled coral ghost motley and you might be right. Will just have to wait and see. Whatever he or she turns out to be I'm happy with it

Gorgeous little one. Got my first corn a year ago on an impulse buy from BHB while at the White Plains show. A black motley, she was the 2nd best looking one in the bin, 4thesnakelady bought the best looking one. Been so happy with her. She's daddy's little angel.

Mine is starting to become one of my favorites. Love the feeding response. It LOVES to eat. Yours sounds adorable! I wouldn't mind getting a couple more eventually

This was very wise. A few weeks ago I picked up my first snake, the most colorful/pretty normal-corn that's about the same size. I named the lil' fella Sir William Snakespeare despite being unsexed, and I really don't want to come up with another punny name.
