    Flexwatt heating unbalanced?

I noticed that my heattape is quite a few degrees hotter on one side like almost 10 degrees? Anyone ever experienced that? I do have it hooked up to a dimmer at the moment as I'm waiting for my herpstat but do you think it needs to be re wired? Or any reason why it would do that?

It's funny I've been having the exact same problem. I have 6" thg for reptile basics and its hooked up to a Herpstat 1 thermostat.
