Man I'm the king of off topic lately haha. I'm trying to learn web design so that I can help update the company web sites - I'm gonnna purchase macromedia suite but I was wondering if there were any good resources for learning macromedia based web design? Anything would be appreciated as I am quite overwhelmed.

Those are some sites with pretty good tutorials when it comes to Flash. There are also a ton of books on the subject. A trip to your local library or bookstore, public or college, would probably be a good place to start as well. Good luck

How long has your bp been off feed?

yep, do those tutorials and browse some books and just jump right in. the very best way i have found to learn any of those programs was to just sit down and start using them. the more you use them the more you will learn. yes at first you will get stuck here and there and have to go back to the books and tutorials for help, but it's all just a part of getting the hang of it. and i agree with carson when he says to check the libraries for books--there are a ton of them out there but many won't take you beyond the very basic stuff so they really aren't worth buying. you read through them once and that's all you need.
