I am assuming you have not owned a snake before?

No one can choose your snake, the bond must be made by choosing one yourself

    First pick a budget.

Also, I wouldn't buy a snake without some kind of visual of it before hand. This thing is going to be around for a looooooooong time, best it looks pretty to you

I don't know this breeder other than this post. I am not trying to negate him in anyway, but ask and google around on his quality and care. This is a looooooooong term investment, make sure you're not going to endup with a kinky head bobbin snake.

If you're really unsure, you can start at the top of the list or find names you like and google images them. That way you can narrow your morph, then decide on the remaining choices based off of which of his snakes appeals to you the most.

I love my BP. Just a plain-james yellow belly with some beautiful brown undertone when the light hits him right Paid $150 shipped from a reputable breeder (Dave Green Reptiles FTW!) and couldn't be happier!

i cant decide, please help narrow list

Get what YOU like there are many different choices what matters is for you to pick what YOU like most not what I or anyone like best.

YOU are the one that will care for it for the next 30+ years

First thing you need to decide do you want a male or a female, do you want a pet or plan to breed in the future?

    WoW, what a list.

That's almost like, what car should I buy?

The previous posters nailed it with words of iron.

Best of Luck with your research.

Re: i cant decide, please help narrow list

I have a problem of liking everything and being terrible at decisions.
This list use to be so much longer, and has been filtered by budget. I was hoping to get others opinion on which they like better.
Corey woods is where the het red axanthic and red axanthic genes came from.

I'm kinda stuck between the champagnes, pies, albinos, and ivory

I also think the green ghost is really cool, the one I plan on working with is in love with orange ghosts, and his genstipes are cool.

    I'm a mess

Love the champagne red axanthics! Honestly though I'm just going to repeat what everyone else said and you should get what appeals to you. I had fun looking through Cory Woods breeding records looking at all the babies.

Are you planning on breeding later on? If so, you might want to look at snakes that could produce offspring you're interested in with one generation (for example, if you got a het pied to breed with another het pied, you'd get pied babies in just one generation). I think sometimes new breeders get discouraged when initial projects fail to give them the kind of offspring they were looking to get.

If not, I'm just going to echo everyone else and say to get what looks best to you. After all, they all pretty much act the same and spend most of their time trying to hide from you lol

I want to breed and I think that's what's making this such a difficult decision. There are so many different directions I could go

If you plan to breed get females first. Also start with your most favorite morph. Then work down from there. No one knows what you like better than you.
