    Christmas Miracle

My own little christmas miracle is this....I came home for the holidays to stay at my parents house. Usually my parents are fairly decent at monitoring my Nagini for me, however everyone would be leaving the house for the holidays and I didn't want her alone when the temperatures could plummet as they do. My mother, who has always said "no snakes under my roof" said "Ok, Nagini can come with you. So two days ago, I hauled her viv into the car, (with snake firmly nestled under my coat against my skin for warmth) and now he's chilling with me on the couch at my parents!!! I'll use this thread to post pictures of Nagini's first christmas, and the miracle of being able to have her at my parents!

    Christmas Miracle

The real Xmas miracle is the woman on Sky News now . Ten years ago her family were in the the pool in Thailand when they were hit by a 20' high wave - the first of the Tsunami - she grabbed her two young sons aged 5 and 3 and ran for safety only to be swept away ... She knew that she couldn't save them both so made an instant decision to hold on to the youngest , most helpless boy and let go of the older , stronger one !!! She watched him being swept away in the all the debris ........ the mum and youngest survived .

Amazingly , the older one grabbed onto some floating wreckage and survived as well and was reunited with his family sometime afterwards .

I agree, that is a miracle. I realize that mine isn't.... Amazing or heroic or that overly miraculous but to me, my mother actually appreciating the fact that I'm a herper, and not thinking it's wierd is a miracle
