    Quick question!

I'm new to this, My thread.

But Snake (still unnamed) got out of his cage last night because I forgot to put one of the clasps back on because I ended up rinsing out his water dish and refilling it right before bed, but he got out and was sitting between his tank and the tank of my moms Gecko that I am watching.

To shorten this story, he was there for at least 5 hours (how long I was at work), probably longer because I just swapped his night and daytime lights before going to work instead of checking on him.

Our house sits at about 70 degrees, and I would think the glass is maybe a bit lower than that.

So he got cold, I had him wrap himself around my arm and I throw a sweatershirt on over myself (and him) to try to warm him up fast.

His nose isn't crusty or boogery.

What do you think the chances are of him getting pneumonia?

I'm sure your snake will be fine. From what I understand, ball pythons can withstand colder temps better than they can withstand hotter ones. Just keep an eye on him and at the first sign of anything out of the ordinary, get him to a vet.

I don't think you have anything to worry about.

The cool side of my tank is 73-75 and my snake spends most of the time over there.

Besides, if he was really cold, he would have gone exploring for a warmer spot to hole up in.

Last winter during a snowstorm, our power went out without waking me up. By the time I realized what had happened and got my emergency heating plan in action the room had gotten below 70. We got it warmed up quickly and everyone survived with no ill effects. Just keep an eye on him and make sure respiratory symptoms aren't developing.
