    Ap questions

    From people that have ap enclosures how has your expirence been with ap? So far for my 1st t8 it hasn't been the best.. Ordered nov 19th, received enclosure on the 10th after I emailed.. Then had to email again on the 17th to find out when glass was coming, and was told my divider was going to be shipped with the glass, received glass today and no divider with it.. Just send Ali a email but is this normally how it is with them? Or am I just the fluke accident that happend?

    It's normal.

    They get hyped up for their customer service...take it with a grain of salt. I've never had them be particularly responsive. People get very defensive about their choices so I'm sure this will provoke a rash of people defending AP.

    I've experienced extensive delays and have found that they respond best when prodded. They are polite and helpful, but they are just as slow as everyone else.

    My last cage order with them took twice as long as they quoted. I have to contact them for updates as deadline after deadline was missed. While they ultimately refunded the shipping costs, the aggravation was not worth it.

    Lead time is usually slow so I always tell people that if they want to order from them they really need to plan in advance (at least 12 weeks), they put out a good product and they have good customer service but time is definitely an issue.

    So your issue is not unusual.

    I only know of one person that has a quick lead time.

    I've generally had good experiences with them, however I also recently ordered a set of T8's. I received the cages but no glass. I put everything together and sealed it and then called Ali about the glass. She said that they were having issues with their glass but would send it out as soon as they had their problems resolved. I received the glass about a week later and everything is now fine. I don't generally get too worked up about stuff like this. Everyone makes mistakes and everyone has problems from time to time. To me it's how they handle those problems that makes the difference to me on whether on not I'll buy from them again. And so far, I really don't have any reason to not buy from them again, they still make a quality product.

    My personal experience with them has been pretty good. I've ordered two enclosures from them and there was only one small issue (the glass wasnt cut for the lock) which I didn't care about returning or exchanging.

    Overall, I think AP has a superior product and Ali will always get back to you with a response in a reasonable amount of time. To me that's what matters. Mistakes happen. It all depends how they're handled.

    We just picked up a T10 from them for a BTS. Had the same experience with the glass and Ali told me the same thing that they were just having issues and it would be about a week behind, which it was. Other than that I am really happy with the product and I thought Ali did a good enough job setting my expectations on the timing so that it wasn't an issue. Hopefully you will get your divider soon.

    Yea she emailed me back and realized they forgot it after fedex came and they were going to ship it today and only takes a day to get to my house. The looks and everything of the enclosure is very nice. I will most likey order again once I get more in my collection
