Interrupted shed cycle?
My 3-year-old male started to go into a shed cycle, then stopped. His belly got pink, eyes got cloudy (though never went blue) then everything went back to normal. I would say this took place over the course of two weeks or so and he definitely should have shed by now. Anyone else experience this?

One time I was puzzled about my BP 'missing' a shed and then later when cleaning the enclosure found a full shed tightly wrapped into a little dried-up ball behind a cork flat that was propped up against the back of the terrarium.

Re: Interrupted shed cycle?
Your snake will shed any day now. It is usually about 24 to 48 hours after they clear up that they will shed. Patience is key.

Re: Interrupted shed cycle?
Thanks for the replies. This DEFINITELY isn't a normal situation. I've had him long enough to know his patterns and it's been more than a week now since he's "cleared up." I've never heard of a snake taking 3 weeks + from the start of the process to the end. Anyone else have any ideas?

Have you checked under EVERYTHING? the shed could be in a tiny dried up ball somewhere in our snake's cage

Well, his belly is pink again. No shed hiding in his tank. I'm convinced this is some weird anomaly in his shed cycle. That or he's trying to play some sort of trick on his mom!
