My snake is behaving out of the norm...

I knocked over the old container we used for live mice and spilled the bedding. Naturally, I cleaned it up. I turn around and my snake has her head poking out of her hide, sniffing around and tracking my every move. Obviously, she could pick up the old scent. Now, I'm not trying to assume, but could this mean she is hungry? She just ate Sunday Nov. 30 and will be fed this upcoming Sunday. She is 2ft long 4 inches around and eats a small rat every other week. Thanks for any advice!

Yes, the scent could definitely have her looking for a meal.

They are opportunistic feeders after all.

My boa hangs out around my neck a lot and last night while wandering around we walked past the mice cage we keep the live feeders in that was by the sink ready to be washed out. She literally climbed over my head to investigate although she was only fed 4 days ago.

Not out of the normal, perfectly normal as the others said. They will eat every day, for the most part, if you let them.
    Cheers, Jeff

My snake is so finicky, I would take that as a sign and offer a feed.
