    Exclamation New to snake keeping

I am new to the snake keeping scene. I have caught onto most of the stuff quite well from watching youtube and reading stuff online. However I do have 1 question and that is what size under tank heater will i need for a 32 quart tub? I haven't gotten the snake as of yet because I want to get everything and set it up before I make a choice as to what I want. I am going to get a ball python for sure though. Please help as I have asked several people and no one has informed me yet. Thank you for your time and cooperation.

You might want to use heat tape as opposed to a UTH.

If you are going to use an UTH, perhaps it's worth putting on the side as opposed to the bottom.

The smallest under tank heater size is the only one UL rated to be used on a plastic enclosure. Its intended and sold for hermit crabs kept in kritter keepers.

The other safe route, if your using sterlite type bins, cut out a large square section of the top and recover with aluminum screen. Attached properly it will be heat safe and support a dome light.
