    Finally all setup.

Ok so im finally finished setting up my first BP enclosure. It's a glass enclosure- srry tub lovers ...36x18x24. Foiled top, regular daylight bulb on top to boost my ambient temps slightly and to provide a daylight cycle and blue shop paper towel as substrate for easy cleaning.

I've got a dollarstore dish setup for water which is boosting my humidity, some fake plants to clutter up the space a bit and one hide setup on my hot side which I might move to the cold side still unsure..im getting another hide from prev. snake owner which I might put where this one is. My digi/hygrom probe under that hide and the unit on opposite end. Still waiting on my temp gun in the mail...free shipping takes forever to get..lol.. I've been checking my humidity lvls multiple times a day but since putting the water bowl in and they've improved a lot, up to 58-61% daily and I will mist when needed.

It's attached to a herpstat1 which I bought last wekend I had set it it 89%. Its giving me exact numbers there it didnt feel that hot to the touch.. just slightly warm but from what I'm reading from you guys a human feeling it with their hands shouldn't be feeling it too hot anyways lol..so thats good.

I'm waiting to get my ride over to the guys place who I've arranged to buy a 2013 pastel from, she's eating well from what he says and looks good from the pics...I've been waiting a while now to get her...was still setting everything up and waiting to get a way to his place cuz I dont drive and not about to bus to his in the winter with said snake in the cold..lol...

I had one question for you guys about the herpstat...since shes a 2013, and older than a hatchling would I need to setup a nightime temp cycle? I setup a daytime temp...is that all I need to do? Will that mean its just going to run that same temp throughout the night? Do I have to set that same temp for night as well?? I know its a newb question lol. If thats not the case should I put a night cycle in anyways? Should I be adjusting the temp at all for nightime?

Here is a pic of her, I will most likely make a new thread once I get her and shes settled in, how long do you suggest I give her to settle in before I feed/weigh/handle her? Thanks,
    Meg.

    Re: Finally all setup.

Alright, I thought as much but formthe herpstat when I set daytime temp that just runs the temp all day/night then? No need to set anything else then?
