I don't like meeting people either, nor do I allow people in my house.

The only place I will meet and deliver snakes are to reptile shows.

With the amount of money that people have invested in their collection you can blame them for not wanting to meet people in person and have them come to their house.

Also keep in mind that last year a breeder was shot when meeting to deliver some snakes to a customer.

Should you stay away? It's up to you, but think about this, do you like having strangers in your house? Would you trust meeting a complete strangers when $$$ are involved?

I never allow customers (ie: Strangers) to come over to my house to buy a snake, it's my home not my place of business. I've met people before in places like the McDonalds parking lot or in front of some big department store but that always makes me feel like I'm dealing drugs or something nefarious like that. I prefer to drop off animals at Herp Society Meetings or at shows or some place similar.

I will meet in public places and sometimes at my home.
My home is my security, you are on video at every angle and should you come in with anything other than monies for your purchase you probably wont walk out. My wife and I have protocol for people coming over, some never even knew she was here.

I'm an animal person, people, not so much. My little farm is my private domain and anyone invited to enter plays by the rules. Or they leave. How they leave is up to them...
