I will be moving in two weeks and driving from just south of Chicago all the way to Tampa. It is funny because we are only taking one car and only able to take what we can put in the car and my snakes ARE going. Anyway, how do I take them? How do I transport them? I thought that I would put them in a box with some aspen, and put the heating pad underneath them. They will be sitting in my daughter's car seat so that she can have the middle and outside of the back seats. I also might be staying overnight. Any advice?

Oh, they are a BP and a RTB. They are both a few months old and about 20-22".

If you are staying overnight, it would be a good idea to get them inside and under some heat. As for the car ride, i just use pillow cases and put them into a small rubbermaid. You will be keeping the car at a comfortable temperature for you and your family, so temps should be ok. I would watch that the container not get into direct sunlight which would heat it up to a dangerous level.

Compadres, it is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season. And remember, a shiny new donkey for whomever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya.
