Fantastic snakes. I love the way retics look, mainly because when you see their eyes like that, they look ridiculously intelligent. Like...scary intelligent lol. Reminds me of Kaa from The Jungle Book. I'm guessing you plan to breed them?

Re: This shall be my photo bank.
Thanks everyone for your comments!
1.) I will definitely keep taking pictures and keeping the thread fueled! I love my purple the most, simply because he was my first reticulated. Absolute sweetheart, too. My Goldenchild just tries to bite the crap out of me, haha.
2.) I do eventually plan or hope to breed them, but that'll be awhile before I'm ready to handle a mommy retic XD
3.) Thanks for the compliments on their color! Personally I am a doll for beautiful eyes... and that Goldenchild has amazing eyes! I really agree that the intelligence is visible in their eyes. Such beauty!
4.) I am going to invest in a tripod, I believe!

How was your snake from vital exotics? Damaged or mites at all?

Kris does NOT have a reputation of damaged goods or mite infested snakes. Vital Exotics is a great company to deal with, and their quality is some of the best out there. They DO buy litters from other breeders to keep their stock up, but they raise them for a while before releasing them to future buyers. Again, not enough great things can be said about them.

Fair enough. My 3 retics came in Friday and we're a bit rough. They will be fine though for sure. He is a really great guy. I plan on supporting his company more in the future.

My female from Vital actually did have mites but I let them know about it. The issue was resolved but yes, she came in originally very pissed off and with mites. Honestly, my male from Bob Clark had them, too.
I wasn't sure what the deal was, but it definitely caught me off guard.
