My name is Rose, and I just own 2 snakes. My first was an extreme reverse okeetee, corn, and my 2nd is a spinner blast ball python. I love my corn, gracie, but I fell in love with my ball, nugget, at first sight. These two are the newest of mypets. They join 2 dogs, 3 cats, 1 blue-fromt amazon parrot, as our indoor group. Outdoors we have 10 chickens and a muscovey duck. The care takers and human companions to my mini zoo are my husband, daughter, and myself.

These are my first snakes, andi am still learning, but i guess when it comes to your pets and animals in general you never stop learning.

Nugget is housed in an exo terra glass tank, a exo terra desert uth, with a herpstat thermostat. His bedding is cypress mulch, and he has 3 hides and silk plants to block the side glass, the rock background blocks window light. His water bowl is a heavy ceramic rock type and his temps are 88-92 on hot side and 78-82 on cool side with amiant temps of 75-80. I am having a problem keeping the humidity level over 40 percent so i ordered a fogger today. I also covered the tank at the ends. it helped but not enough. He eats small ft rat pups and is an egar eater. Any advice anyone has to offer will be appreiciated. What i learned, i learned by lurking here, So thanks for just being there.
