    2015 Pastel Yellowbellies

Virgin Ivory......no more!! This is his first ever pairing. I really feel like this female pastel has something else going on (terrible picture of her here but did not want to disturb the lovers). Both of her clutches have contained very suspicious offspring. Hopefully this Ivory will clear things up for me.

Awesome stuff, update the thread if something interesting hatches. You think she's a Patel Yellowbelly?

Possibly a member of that complex but I won't know for sure unless she throws an ivory in 2015.
    Dam as a baby.

Her first clutch. (notice how bright the snake in the upper right is. I held her back. She also has some sort of fading properties, almost ringer like. The baby in the lower right had a paradox spot also (she was sold). Also notice the pattern on the pastel in the center.

Here are some post shed pictures of clutch one. Pastels first (notice the pattern on the snake on the right).

Now the super pastels. You can see how bright the snake on the left is and how she has wicked fading. Also you can see the paradox on the snake on the right (white scales where yellow ones should be all the way around the center of the body).

Here is a photo of dam (left), sire (right), and the faded female super that I retained.

    Side shot of that super.

    Belly shot of Dam.

Clutch number 2. Everything has a ringer except the normal and female pewter. The pastel and black pastel have super tiny ringers all the way at the tips of their tails and the pewters have large faded like ringers. Also, one pewter has a large paradox area which you can see clearly in this photo. Notice how clean the pastel is and how she has the same pattern (but a little cleaner) as the pastel from clutch one. Not shown are the bellies of the pastel, black pastel, and normal which have checkered track like markings the full length of the snake (will have to work on getting photos of this).

Lastly here are some post shed photos of clutch 2.

    A little older

And that is why I paired her with an ivory
