    yay! checked on Kurtz this morning and found a whole bunch of skin...and he was all new and shiny looking! yay! i took it all out and thought hmm..nice shed..then looked in his log and found a huge ball of more skin! my 3.5 foot python leave a lot of skin...can you imagine a giant reticulated! i've only had him for 2 months...my nephew had him for a couple years before me but didn't take very good care of him so i adopted him. first time i've seen him shed! anyway thanks for all your advice! i guess now i can feed him again.

    thanks! how common are incomplete sheds? and how often should i expect him to shed?

    I think incomplete sheds really go away after you get the humidty straightened out and in the right %'s all of the time. (Or at least the really bad incomplete sheds.)

    (And if the bp wasn't in really good care at first, it might take a few sheds in ideal conditions before it's a perfect shed). He should shed when he grows..but I think you said this was an adult bp, so I have no idea.
