There are lots of places to buy BPs, and lots of great breeders to purchase from! Reliable individuals with healthy, quality animals. Which is always the most important thing. There are links to many of these reputable breeders in the links to the left of the screen. Garrick DeMeyer is another great guy, from whom I have purchased snakes in the past, and they were very healthy. His website is royalconstrictordesigns.com

Another good guy is Mike Wilbanks, http://pythonregius.com

    Or BHB Reptiles, http://www.bhbreptiles.com/

    Or Bob Clark, http://www.bobclark.com/available/ball_pythons/

And I can't forget my friends at MK Morphs.

That's just to name a few.

There are many other wonderful budding breeders on this site that have some great animals to choose from. Now it's just a matter of finding the animals that you're looking for. Good luck!

Go to an expo or join a local reptile Facebook group, find out who the breeders within driving distance are, research the heck out of them to find out who is reputable and who should be avoided, and then buy from the best. Shipping is getting stupid-high, it's better to put cash into a local breeder's pocket - and get more snake for your money - than give it to FedEx.

My wife found a breeder through facebook when searching for a Tiger bp that I have been wanting. The least expensive real one I found was about $350 + shipping. The person she found selling a Pastel Tiger that she bought me for my b-day last week (for $150 shipped) is still in touch inquiring about the snake and how he is doing. He came in last Thursday am. My wife cleaned the urine off of him, checked his holes, scales, and overall look (about 20 min of handling) before placing him into a bin. By the time I woke up (@ 4 pm) he had deficated and shed. lol. I then held him for about 30 minutes. The next day when I picked up feeders I got one for the newbie too. They all ate, even the new guy. I don't know how much research she did to find their site, but with the concern they showed for the health and well being of the snake and that he made it from Cali to Florida ok, and our overall satisfaction (not to mention the price)....I would definitely buy from them again. She is a member of FB groups. I think she was asking around in there for breeders of the snake I wanted.

Hey Josh! My praying mantis friend. 😀 Although I have not received my snake yet (arrives Tuesday!), so far I can recommend Dave of texomareptiles.com. Great guy to talk to and he came highly recommended to me. Really seems to care!
