    Snakes'n'Stones

Was at a reptile expo today and some vendors had their BPs and other species on stones. Is this for display only? Do snakes like it?
I have one flat unpolished stone in the vivarium beside water bowl and my BP sometimes lays with has his head on it but that's quite different. I'd add a few of these round polished stones if there's a reason to.
    TIA.

Also this was the first time seeing a full-grown BP and it kind of surprised me, it will be interesting (to say the least) when my 10 month old little buddy is that big!
