Ok, so I have a 4 yr old normal female at 1749g named Kismet and my friend has a nice 3.5 yr old spider male who we would like to try a shot at breeding this year. The male Apollo, has been refusing meals for a few weeks now and Kismet who is normally a solid feeder just refused. I figure I'll try to offer food in two more weeks and if she refuses, would it be safe to assume we could put the two together and try for a pairing?
I also intend to take her in to her vet and get her checked to make sure her health is excellent (I'd be shocked if it wasn't), apollo's owner is doing the same. Kismet's husbandry is on par, so I'm not concerned about that. Trying to read all I can so we can be successful.
Thanks in advance.
