    Baby Ball Python Feeding Problem

I have a baby normal ball python i bought at the Daytona Reptile Expo this year. I feen him live hopper mice every 7 days, but almost 2 days after he eats, he almost always throws it back up. I have his temp set to 89 and he has 2 hides and a medium dish in the middle. Im not sure what the humidity is. He has kept 1 or 2 mice down before but the rest have always been thrown up. Also he hasnt pooped since i got him and he looks kinda swollen about an inch from his tail. He hasnt shed yet either. Is something wrong with him?

Stop feeding him if he is regurging.
Give him a couple weeks before you try to feed again.
How are you measuring the temps and where are you getting the 89 degree reading from?

The temprature probe is placed under the heat mat and that is under his warm hide.

You're right - they're not the best, but it's definitely better than nothing at all.

Do you have a thermometer or temp gun to tell you what the temperature is on the floor above the heat mat? The 89 degree setting on the thermostat is just that - a setting. It's not telling you the actual temperature inside your enclosure.

Please tell me your mat is not inside the tank?
You need a thermometer to double check your temperatures.
This is the only way to know the true temperature of the surface that your snake can touch.
