I think i finally got it right!!!!

So its been about 4-5 weeks since I bought my very first Ball Python. I started it in a 20 gallon tank and have moved it into a 40 gallon. I switch mulch/bedding twice (thats 3 different beddings). Bought a UTH and a lamp for both night and day, Thermometers, a thermostats, a fog machine (will probably be returned), had an unsuccessful shed but recovered with a successful soak. He has eaten all the mice I've put in his cage. Not sure if boy or girl, a breeder couldn't tell by popping. But most likely a boy. Temps are 90 on warm side, and 80 on cool side (give or take a few degrees). Its been crazy, but I think I FINALLY have everything correct!

    Heres some pics...

The first picture I took of it next to a ruler

When it had stuck shed he went into a funny position to hide from me in my hand. Its head is upside-down under himself

This is the tank I started it in while I setup a real cage.

    Camera shy

Blurry picture but him sitting on a log at night.

Final setup of the lid of the tank with foil tape-covered cardboard.

Another shot at night. (sorry these are out of order)

When I took him out to soak him, he wrapped around me and pretended we was a watch.

Probably the best picture i have of it. (yes I know, stuck shed)

    I also like this picture

The first setup of the 40 gallon tank

final setup of the 40 gallon tank (what it is now)

Cool side has a vine and sticks setup for him to climb and a hide under it all. Warm side is more open. Two water dishes: A large one on the hot side, a small one on the cool side.

I am very happy with my python. It was a good purchase. Thank you all for your help on this website.
Im just throwing around my opinions. Im trying to give as much help as I've received on this website
