    Weight

My 5m old BP female is 327g...she's eating either 2 large mice or a sm hoppy rat. She eats live although I am going to try stunned rat next time cuz I don't want her bit. I feed her every 7 days. Is this a good weight or too heavy?

Sounds good to me! At that age, definitely wouldn't be overweight. Every snake is different, and along with the amount of food they eat, they are individual in their growth rates.

    Re: Weight

I would do fresh killed over stunned. Cause if it wakes up it can be worse than feeding live. Also putting a pencil or tongs in the rats mouth will keep it from biting your snake as well

    Re: Weight

I've tried F/T a few times now. She will half heartedly restrict it but then ignores them. Last one she picked up and dumped in her water bowl. I tried various ways of defrosting and heating them up but she just refuses them. Two min after I give up and feed live she eats
