    Family Members & Reptiles

We always have topics of kids with reptiles, but what about other family members?

This is my mom. She was terrified of snakes when I got my first, to the point that she wouldn't even come into my room.

This is my uncle bill. He used to be the type that would tell me that my snakes would be better off as boots.

And of course, my legendary grandmother. She used to be hesitant of snakes, but is now a lover. She checks on them regularly, using my temp gun and talks to them as if they were her children.

^ that's Ivy, my spider albino. The day I brought her home, grandma claimed her as her snake.

lol I am in the same boat to a point. I started out being the only one that would even touch a snake. My mother went from being scared of even baby water turtles ( sliders) to having her own snake for a while. My sister an niece were never as bad ( my niece at 7 would go into the snake room and pull out the boa I had and walk around with it. She claimed it as her snakes lol ( 13 foot snake had it tail and head bot being dragged on the floor when she pulled it out and walked around with it )

Now the funny one was always my grandmother she tell me repeatlly to get rid of the snakes and find a girlfriend. Then when I met my wife 4theSNAKElady she went from that to saying don't get a girlfriend and keep the snakes. . Now it not an issue either ay lol as I have both .
The best one reaction I ever had was with my cousin He a big bouncer type looking redneck. He and I are walking around in the woods were he lived and came upon a mating ball of garter snakes I told him to hold back 3 times as I wanted to check it out closer (he didn't listen). As I bend over to pick up the wad of snakes I hear this crashing noise and when I look I see my bow on the ground and the tress moving like an truck going full tilt away. ( my big bad cousin was scared of the garter snakes and ran. ( he claims I was going to toss them on him ) I never do that. I can say that as the fastest I ever seen him move in my life.1
Was married to 4theSNAKElady (still wish we were)
