    Hatchling bedding/eating

I have a month old clutch of haatchling bps. Only one of them has taken a third meal. I recently switched them from paper towels to aspen bedding. Im worried that the rat crawlers will be too hard to find when nestled in the bedding. Am i correct in assuming this? Should i go back to paper towels? The one visual hatchling i hatched is the only one to not take a meal on its own yet and id hate to delay it anymore by using the aspen.

Your snake will find a rat anywhere in the enclosure if he's hungry for rat, but, if you're worried, switch them back to paper towel.

I have neonate BRB's on cypress mulch. They have no problem finding their rat fuzzies or mouse hoppers.

    Re: Hatchling bedding/eating

Ok. The aspen i have is shavings and its more fluffy than mulch. I was concerned with them burying themselves in it but ill give it a shot amd see how they do. Thanks guys
