    Re: Shedding + Feed question

I am in the exact same situation. Shesha shed last night and I offered food right after and he had no interest at all. I did have to assist him and spent about 45 minutes removing the remaining 5 inches or so of tail he had left on so I am hoping that is all it is, maybe he was just overwhelmed. Did your snake need any help shedding or was the process otherwise unusually stressful? I wish I could give more advice but I am troubleshooting the same food refusal. When was the last time he ate?

It happens. Some of them eat all the time after a shed, some eat some of the time after shed, some seem to always need a few days.

You'll figure out what your's is like after a few shed cycles with him/her.
