Wheezing, Old Poo, and Vet Visit

So for the past several days my bp, Bean, has been making an occasional wheezing sound (he also wasstaying in his cool hide without laving for about a week, but I'll get to that later). I checked his temps and hmidity and everything seemed fine. I was a little wary about taking him to the vet because I have heard it may be shed covering his nose (since he looks like he may be going blue soon; I also recently spent a lot on a vet trip for my BTS since she had an RI of some sort.) As it kept persisting I thought maybe somehow he had caught something from my skink (even though nothing of theirs ever come in contact). So today I smelt something a little more funky than usually coming from his tank (though I have been having breathering problems of my own for the past two weeks and have not really been able to smell much until it cleared up a few days ago, which is the only reason that I can think of why I didn't smell it before). So I go into clean his tank, removing him from his hide (obviosuly wasn't too happy about that), and notice that his hide smells the most. I washed it and came back, notice that he had moved, and revealed that a large poo that looks days old (covered in white fuzz) was sitting in there the whole time. I am ashamed to say that I didn't notice it before, and now am definitely taking him to the vet.

After that long ramble I have a few questions/concerns. Firstly, I cannot take him to the vet until Wednesday do to family issues and pre-scheduled appointments. Would waiting till Wednesday be dangerous or do you think he would be fine until then? Also, when I take him to the vet (same one I took my skink too, so I have a general idea of how he works) should there be anything specific that I should tell/ask him?

    Thank you

With no other signs of a RI and the imminent shed I would not go to the vet. Very commonly snakes get a popping sound as they go through the shedding process.

I very much doubt the snake got anything from the skin.

The fuzzy movement sounds like it was just old and started to mold. While not great it is also no reason to go to the vet.

Is there any other reason you think a vet visit is needed?

I'm probably overreacting. I'm just concerned that if he does have some sort of infection, that if I wait would develop into something worse.
