    Re: genetic articles

Do you want to learn the principles of genetics, which apply to ball pythons, mice, corn, etc? Then there is a sticky in this forum and others around the web.

Or do you understand the principles and want a list of the ball python's mutant genes? Then
http://www.worldofballpythons.com/morphs/ and click the button beside "basic" in the filters list.

    Re: genetic articles

Then you want the World of Ball Pythons link above. Also http://www.reptileforums.co.uk/forum...ts-morphs.html
There are a variety of other threads about genetic defects in ball pythons, too.

As far as I know, nobody has turned up any cases of sex linkage or linkage in ball pythons.

There are a couple of books available --
Kevin McCurley, The complete ball python
    John Berry, Designer morphs
I have not gotten my hands on either one because they are rather expensive.

    Good luck.

Pied and leopard might be closely linked, but we are far from saying that with confidence.
