making a new rack but need a little help

Heya,

i am almost doe with my rack all that is left is the tubs, and there is also where the question kicks in.

How many airholes/ventalation holes should i make? between the tub and the shelf is a 1 or 2 mm space that is 0.08 or 5/64 inch. not sure of those meesurments make any sence to you guys haha i dont know if there is an metric unit in america smaler then inch.

is making 4 holes in the front and 3 holes in the back enough? thodr holes would be about 6 mm 15/64 inch.

or should i make like 2 holes on the left and the right side of the tub too?

Depends what your rack type is, if its enclosed just do 3-4 in the fron 1-2 in the back (since itll push air out) no need for any on the sides, If its open on the sides, do air holes... Id start with 2/2 front/back and see what humidty is then go from there .

I'd actually suggest setting up the rack and checking humidity levels before making any holes at all. You may not need to do anything, and it's easier to add holes as needed then subtract holes that you added unnecessarily.
