Did i mess up my breeding season?

Thanks for looking. I am new to the fourm and this is my second season breeding bp. I just moved 6 hours away and was told by some people that i would for sure mess up this entier year? Anyone ever had this happen? After letting my snakes settle in for the past two weeks and back on normal feeding i threw my males in with the females and had two confermed locks. But is my female just not going to fertilize? Any help would be great. Thank you jeremy

With breeding there is never any guarentees a way or another.

Your move might affect your season and it might not the only way to know is to wait and see.

I moved 4 years ago and my season was a loss but that does not mean it will happen to you.

You'll probably be fine, seven years ago I moved from NJ to AZ in mid-August and was breeding by November without an issue. My first season here was a good one.

Re: Did i mess up my breeding season?

I picked up my stud male last year around this time. I started cooling Novemer 15th as I usually do. A month later he would not hook up with my Girls. After a month of trying I gave up on him and went to plan b. I decided 6 weeks later to give him another shot and bam. He was a machine and locked up with 5 of my girls and father 4 clutches. Last one hatched this week. My point is anything can happen. Sound great if they are locking up, I would not worry too much
