he drops in his water
http://youtu.be/xxRtQjfSHsg
He falls in his water bowl 10 to 15 times a day…maybe I need to put down some moss to soften his fall. I thought maybe he would stop, but he hasn’t and this is the only corner he does this too. He checks out all the others , but doesn’t fall in any like he does over his water…the whole side stays wet where he does this….just thought others might enjoy my little water snake…

Not sure what he is climbing on to get up there. Maybe remove it, at least for a while.

He uses the top of his hide then go towards the inside corner and comes out from there he snakes along the top until he drops...oh he is using his temp. Dials he is just barely hanging on there and just keeps going til he falls. I saw his tail come off the ground this morning then he fell..thats when I got the camera...had to record the goofy snake...

I would find something to prevent that. I can't tell for sure but my first thought is getting a dowel rod that will fill the gap and hot glue it in place.

Re: he drops in his water
Also, since temp dials attached way up there (they look pretty far above the substrate) aren't very good at measuring the temperature at snake-level, you could move them lower, closer to the floor.
PS. Those temp dials are notoriously inaccurate. You might also consider replacing them with a probe-based thermometer that sits on the substrate. This might help keep your snake from climbing the walls!

Re: he drops in his water
Great! Nice redundancies in your system. Hopefully lowering or removing those dials keeps him from trying to be a high-flying acro-ball.
