    Tiny Guy

So, we've had 2 different clutches have twins in the eggs this year. Of those 4 babies, only 1 made it out of the egg alive (you can read about the problems with the twins in this thread http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...-Causing-Death). The surviving twin weighed in at 32 grams, so my wife name him "Tiny Guy". Tiny Guy has been a champ, he took a small, live mouse hopper the very first time he was offered and has taken a second the following week. He had his second shed after that second meal, and took a live rat pinkie on Friday night. Here is a current picture of him, and a picture of him with one of his brothers.

I think you can really see the difference in size by looking at their heads. Tiny Guy's head is a lot smaller and narrower. Tiny Guy came from our unknown double het clutch. It was supposed to het Pied het Albino, but we got Albino and another gene that we haven't identified yet. If you're curious about that clutch, take a look at this thread, http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...e-Het-For-What. I'll try to update this thread periodically as Tiny Guy grows.

Yeah, my wife has developed quite the soft spot for Tiny Guy. He's the first hatchling that she checks on when she goes to the hatchling rack. With him being a strong feeder, I expect that he'll catch up to the size of his siblings soon.

Just an update. Here is a picture of Tiny Guy:

    And here with a sibling:

He keeps eating well. He pounds frozen/thawed rat pinkies. I think I'm going to bump him up to frozen/thawed rat fuzzies soon, but they look a little big for him.
