    Twisted umbilicus?

The head is at the top of the pic. Excuse my botched cut job on this one...

Day 55, 89 degrees. It seems he's got out from under it, I have never experienced any umbilical issues(knock on wood) so when I saw this, I thought this must be the problem. We will see by the end of today what happens

    Re: Twisted umbilicus?

I would monitor everyday and if he does not come out by day 58 pull him out and inspect. Be ready to put him and the entire contents of the egg in a super small deli cup (clear is best but colored toddler disposable snack containers will work if you have a hard time finding an egg size deli cup). As soon as you pull him you will know if he needs to be untangled or if the cord is knotted and needs to be tied off. Keep us posted.
