Clutch #2 egg cutting and results

Me and my boyfriend were unsure of what we had in this clutch. So we had a dear friend come and help us.

It was a females pastel paired with both a bumblebee and pewter

Here is a clutch shot off all

So we believe what we have is

2 pastels for sure (maybe supers)
    1 spider
    2 cinnamon
    2 killer bees

I think this Cinny is a cutie pie XD

Nice clutch. Pastels for sure, probably not supers. Also looks like 2 Bumblebees. Killerbees seem to have more faded black than those. Still a very nice clutch.

Clutch #2 egg cutting and results

Yea that's why we asked one of our more experience breeders. He's pretty confident that they are killer bees

He's hatched in the thousands. Plus the flash doesn't help with color and actually showing how they look in person

The one in the second pic has a nice faded head.....maybe a killerbee. I only hatched one last year, but the blacks were much lighter. Almost Hypo looking.

I can't wait for them to come out of the eggs. I feel like is so much easier to tell after the first shed. But either way. Super excited

Re: Clutch #2 egg cutting and results

I see pastels and bees! Bees can be very light right out of the egg and have the reduced patterns. The black on a killer bee wouldn't be as deep. Nice odds though.
