    Don't handle until he eats.

What is your setup like? Temps(hot and cool side), substrate, humidity, hides, water, etc. pics help.
How are you measuring temps and humidity?
    What are you offering?
    How often are you offering?
What was he eating prior to you getting him?
Do you know if there is a feed record for the snake?

    Re: New python!

The hot side air is 80 , inside his hide its about 85-90. Cool side is around 75. I have a humidity and Temp therm. I am offering thawed pinkies because thats what I was told he was eating before he came to me. I might try feeding him live. I offer every few days, because Im worried. They didnt tell me his feed schedule, but since he is young isnt he meant to be eating about once or twice a week? My other snake is perfectly healthy and eats A LOT. She is big! So I dont know if its just him or not.

I got a new ball python a week ago, I'm planning to feed once a week. He is only one month old and he's eating live fuzzy rats, so maybe pinkies are too small?

    Re: New python!

I thought it was weird that they said pinkies, my other girl eats a few fuzzies a week, and they are around the same age.

Hatchlings should be on fuzzies or pups, at this point he should def be on pups or even weanlings.
Give him time alone for a week or so, and if offering FT make sure it's warm enough. This is a common issue with new snakes, they can be very finicky. Good luck!
